Kanye West and Jay Z’s long-awaited “Watch the Throne” album is one step closer to a release date, and, as of the evening of July 3, fans can pre-order it via West’s official site and the newly created www.watchthethrone.com.
The first joint effort by the two superstar rappers is being offered in four different versions: a standard CD with 10 songs for $13.99 or the deluxe version for $16.99 with special packaging and four bonus tracks. Both are also available in MP3 form.
“Watch the Throne” has been in the works for the better part of a year and was recorded all over the world (Paris, London, Abu Dhabi, Australia, and New York City). In December 2010, West described the effort in an Interview Magazine story as “very dark and sexy — like couture hip-hop.”
Production credits on the album name West, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, No ID and Lex Luger, and Beyonce is also listed as contributing guest vocals on a song called “Lift Off,” along with Bruno Mars.

Lady Gaga is bringing her unique style to Taiwan. The eccentric pop singer donned a red trouser suit with leopard print arms and two-tone Cruella de Ville wig when she attended a welcoming ceremony on “Lady GaGa Day” in Taichung Sunday, July 3. Completing her look for the special occasion, she wore a sky-high platform heels and brought along a matching leopard print bag.
The 25-year-old singer arrived in the central city on the third day of her first visit to the Asian country. At the ceremony, she was presented with a key to the city by Mayor Jason Hu, a brush painting of herself by local artist Chen Hua, and a dance presentation by group of children from the Tai Ya tribe from eastern Taiwan.
Of the gifts she received, GaGa said they are
“so overwhelmingly, thoughtful and generous, I will cherish them forever and I will always remember today. I would just like to tell you that you did a beautiful job in that performance. And you are so young and full of life.”

How gutted am I that I wasn’t in the UK last week, the first year I miss out on Britain’s iconic Glastonbury festival, is the year Beyonce became the first ever female singer to headline the main stage!!
When she received the news for the first time she told BBC
“I am the first woman to ever headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. Unbelievable. I didn’t even know that. I was just told that two days ago… (I) never, ever thought I would be able to headline Glastonbury… I’m so honored that I am the chosen woman and I promise, ladies, I’m going to rock!”
Its the biggest rock festival in history and back in 2008 her hubby Jay Z was the first hip-hop star to headline Glastonbury and now Beyonce is clearly delighted to join him in setting a new record. Overwhelmed by performing in front of a crowd of more than 170,000 people on the last night of the world’s biggest rock festival, Beyonce frequently thanked the crowd between songs saying

2011 MUCH MUSIC AWARDS
Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber were big winners at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards, which took place last night in Toronto, Canada, by sweeping the most prizes.
Mother Monster took home UR Fave International Video, thanks to her “Born This Way” clip. After beating Bruno Mars and Eminem in International Video of the Year – Artist, she once again tackled the two male artists in this category. She additionally won over Selena Gomez and Britney Spears.
The Outlandish singer took the stage in a revealing dress and a turquoise wig, thanking fans for their support,
“I love you so much little monsters and Canada! it’s the most important [award] to me because it’s from you the fans,” She also took time to wish her dad a “Happy Father’s Day!”
She additionally remembered her grandfather who inspired her to write song “The Edge of Glory”, and E Street Band’s Clarence Clemons who played a sax solo in the song. She said that her late granddad is “in heaven now with Clarence so I’m on the edge with both of you.”
As for Bieber, he brought a total of two gongs by snatching an award for UR Fave Artist and International Video of the Year. He pushed aside Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne and Down With Webster as well.
Thrilled with his win, he slapped hands with his fans on the way to the stage to accept the trophy from his girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The death anniversary of Michael Jackson is on June 25.This year, fans will get the chance to pay their respects through a helicopter company who is going to be raining flowers down around Neverland, mid-flight! The 30-minute Channel Island Helicopter flights are set to take off on June 24th and June 25th to mark exactly two years since Michael Jackson passed away after a Propofol-induced cardiac arrest. During the flight, fans are going to honor the late King of Pop by throwing his favorite flower, a red rose out of the helicopter. Clarence Clemons, the legendary saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band passed away at 69 yesterday after a stroke he suffered on June 12. Known to his fans as the Big Man, he was recently featured in Lady Gaga’s latest music video “The Edge Of Glory” and is the legend on the sax in songs “Dancing in the Dark” and “Born To Run”. Bruce Springsteen has said
“His loss is immeasurable and we are honored and thankful to have known him and had the opportunity to stand beside him for nearly forty years. He was my great friend, my partner, and with Clarence at my side, my band and I were able to tell a story far deeper than those simply contained in our music. His life, his memory, and his love will live on in that story and in our band.”

DRAMA ON FRIDAY!
Ark Music Factory was quick to issue statement regarding the removal of Rebecca Black’s “Friday” music video from YouTube due to so-called copyright infringement issue. Fuming at the allegation, the company came to their defense, insisting that they didn’t violate any guidelines and claiming their use of the video which had 160 million-plus vewising is fully authorized.
“We’re disappointed, having been in good faith negotiations with Rebecca Black and her representatives for months regarding any open issues, we were blindsided to get a Take Down Notice – with no notice – alleging copyright infringement instead of a call or email from Rebecca’s representatives.”
Rebecca Black and her team took matter into their own hands on June 16 after learning that “Friday” music video has been rented for $2.99 by Ark Music on YouTube. Her team was unhappy because there was a lot of negative publicity towards her following the video rental. “We submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video,” they said.
Adding the statement from her team, Rebecca herself wrote on Twitter
“Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!! PS…My Manager and Lawyer are on this and are going to get to the bottom of this! Stay tuned…”
By Friday, June 17, the music video mysteriously returned to YouTube under a page which was claimed as Rebecca’s official VEVO account. It’s removed shortly after because “the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations.”

No its not a rumor, Lady Gaga did sing one of her new songs, “Hair” without a single hair on her head on UK Talk Show “Paul O’Grady Show”. Don’t worry she didn’t go that drastic and actually shaved her head, she just hid her hair under a bald cap while wearing a turquoise outfit and black Chanel sunglasses. A wig with the same turquoise colour was placed on top of the piano and fire was flaming on both sides of the stage. A bit of drama to add to the performance. Mother monster than briefly stops halfway though the song, takes off her sunglasses, put on the wig and resumes singing!
During her interview Paul O’Grady says to Gaga,

While under house arrest, Lindsay Lohan is taking some time to think about what got her into this mess — and catch up on the doings of the Kardashian family. Yesterday Lindsay invited about 10 friends over for a barbecue and Keeping Up The With The Kardashians viewing party. Lindsay generated some gossip about her love life by sitting on one dude’s lap all night. LiLo certainly knows how to celebrate being under house arrest! Punishment? I think more like glamorous host for get-togethers.. its totally legal.. well lets hope there wasn’t any party juice!
MAMA MONSTER THE DO-GOODER
Lady Gaga is once again auctioning her wares for charity – this time one her Steinway Baby Grand pianos, which has an estimated price tag of $60,000, in aid of “Ten O’Clock Classics” who provide free music and instruments to the badly off children living in New York. The auction is currently running on Charity Buzz website and has so far hit $27,000 after only a couple of days. The auction is set to end on the 15th June. Gaga played this particular piano during a benefit gig for the Robin Hood foundation, another poverty charity based in the city. It is one of the larger items Gaga has sold, and definitely a step up from her usual auctions of fashion items and clothing. Good on you ma ma monster!!

Fashionistas is this a do or a don’t? I spotted Lady Gaga wearing a leopard print jacket that she paired with black underwear at 3 different occasions in the span of less than a month!! First time the wore it was on May 25 back in LA to greet fans, then wore it 2 days later when rehearsing for her performance at Good Morning America’s summer concerts in Central Park, New York. And the 3rd time she wore it over the weekend on June 11 when she arrived at Flumicino airport in Rome. She was recently given the Fashion Icon award at the 2011 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards… Does this justify her to be a fashion icon? or maybe she has 3 pieces of the same outfit??
JESSICA SIMPSON BACK ON A REALITY SHOW… BOOM OR DOOM?
Are you ready for Jessica SImpson to grace our tvs again?? I’m not sure if I am but we know maybe her singing, chatty exes and ahem.. intelligence may not be her best traits but she most defnintitly knows how to make money a billion dollars with her line of shoes, handbags, clothing and perfume!
Now, she’s set to teach others her secret as she signs on to play a fashion mentor on a new NBC reality show where an unknown designer will get funding to start their own brand. In this new TV show called Fashion Star, Jessica Simpson is the guide that follows 14 unknown fashion-savvy contestants as they compete in weekly challenges to win a multimillion-dollar contract to launch their own brand in three of America’s largest retailers.
The show will be hosted by supermodel Elle McPherson and will be taped in front of a studio audience and feature dancers, live music and models along with a full fashion show every week. The series will also allow viewers at home to buy the winning designs each week after they air. Seems to be a trend singers who can’t sing are doing.. going into fashion? I’m just saying…
2011 TONY AWARDS
The most prestigious awards in theatre happened last night, the 2011 Tony Awards! This year was the 65th Annual awards ceremony held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
The Book of Mormon, a religious musical took home 9 awards out of their 14 nominations includig Best Musical Awards, Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score written for the Theatre and more. It even beat the top broadway and west end musical “Anything Goes” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” which stars Daniel Radcliffe.
“War Horse” took home 5 Tony Awards including Best Play, Best Lighting Design of a Play, Sound Design of a Play, Direction of a Play and Best Scenic Design of a Play

Well the fashion crowd fully decked out for last nights Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. Whatever we may think of her style, the fashion pros must know better as Lady Gaga was honored as Style Icon at the CFDA Awards. Teary eyed mother monster said during her speech
“All of you made me feel like a star before I was. As much as this award means to me personally… I just want you to know how much this means to young Americans”
Gaga also talked about how important fashion was in her life as a pathway to self-discovery, artistry and confidence. Seems like according to Gaga, who needs to go to Tibet to find peace when you have fashion!
JUSTIN BIEBER THE ANGEL
The Biebster is being a do good-er this weekend and will be performing a charity concert to help students who want to go to college. Pretty funny as Justin isn’t even old enough to go to college! The benefit concert in California is for a program called College Track where all proceeds will go to underprivileged high school students. Although it seems people are gonna have to burn holes in their wallets before they can reach their academic goals as the cheapest ticket is $250 and go all the way up to $2,000! Ashton Kutcher has praised the Biebs and tweeted
“Hey Justin Bieber proud that you are playing a show for College Track. Good on you”

Boy do I wish I was Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ child! Suri Cruise who is only 5 years old is already renowned for her fashionable attire, what else can you expect when you have movie star parents! Her shoe collection alone is worth over $150,000!!! Almost have a million Ringgit! She’s a massive fan of Marc Jacobs and has had several custom-made shoes, which of course has to come with a heel as she loves heeled shoes. She even has a pair of Louboutins custom made! Something some girls only dream off!! I’m just crying at the fact that the shoes will just go to waste once she grows out of it! Well if you’re Suri Cruise, its just another reason to get a new pair made!
